Built in 1915 and renovated in 1998, the lodge combines Yosemite’s natural beauty with glass and wood. A dozen or so buildings interspersed with restaurants and shops comprise the lodge. Conveniences for guests include an ATM and post office, an outdoor heated pool, and free shuttle service to various locations in Yosemite Valley. The lodge will also assist with tour planning. The lodge has a restaurant with a view of the falls and a bar/lounge. The Cliff and Falls room can be reserved for meetings or events for up to 150 people, and catering is available. Additional amenities include express check-out, a safe-deposit box at the front desk, and free parking. An outdoor amphitheater is located in the center of Yosemite Lodge for nightly ranger/naturalist programs, slide shows, or scenic movies during the summer. |
